David Dower (Piano) brings his quartet to Montsalvat to celebrate the works of Duke Ellington, 50 years after his passing. This exciting group features Melbourne jazz stalwarts Richard Pavlidis (Sax), Kim May (Bass) and Kieran Rafferty (drums), and will perform all the hits of Duke, including tunes like "Caravan", "Take the A Train", as well as shining a spotlight on some lesser-known gems.

Ellington is known as one of the greatest jazz composers in history, with a career stretching multiple decades, and still remains a major influence on jazz in the modern era. David Dower and his band are excited to share this music with you, in what will be an exciting night!
