In light of continuing policy statements and advice from both Federal and State Governments, Montsalvat have made the decision to cancel this concert with Paco Lara on the 6th of June due to public health concerns with the coronavirus (COVID-19).

Our performers and patrons' health and wellbeing are of paramount importance to Montsalvat therefore we are taking the necessary precautions to protect the wellbeing of our community, which is our number one priority.

Embodying the unmistakable Jerez style of flamenco guitar playing, acclaimed Spanish flamenco guitarist Paco Lara presents the flamenco guitar in all its authenticity, culture and artistry. A flamenco performance with interpretations of some of the greatest guitar classics of all time, performed with the characteristic and unmistakable sound (“toque”) of Jerez de la Frontera (Spain). Featuring classic pieces from Paco de Lucia, Al Di Meola, Chick Corea, John Williams or Joaquin Rodrigo amongst others with a mesmerising and distinctive flamenco style, where the guitar is the protagonist. Paco will be accompanied by Carlito Akam on second guitar, flamenco dancer Deya Miranda and Byron Mark, pianist/percussionist.
