Easter is coming to Montsalvat with craft activities and fun for families of all ages!

Easter Treasure Hunt
10am - 4pm

Explore the Montsalvat grounds while following the clues left by the Easter bunny. Clues will take little ones through the Great Hall, around the paddocks and experiencing the historic grounds for themselves.

Easter Bunny Appearance
10.30am - 11.30am
The Easter bunny is coming to Montsalvat!
The Easter Bunny will be making an appearance from 10.30 - 11.30. Make sure you don’t miss them as they hop around the grounds.

Mosaic Activity
Open activity from 11.30am - 3.30pm

Children and adults can participate in a clay activity hosted by Clay Talk. For just $5, you can paint your own bunny mosaic tile with glazes which will then be fired and turned into a table for the Montsalvat grounds. The family can then come and see the table and their artistic contribution on return visits to Montsalvat!

This activity is suitable for all ages.

Bookings are strongly suggested for the mosaic activity to ensure you don’t miss out on materials. Bookings can be made below. The mosaic activity booking of $5 is in addition to your general admission booking.

…And more activities

Make your own Easter Bunny bag for your chocolates! Before heading off on your expedition, sit down at the crafts table to make your own easter bunny carry bag so you can fill it up with goodies on your return to the Barn Gallery.

Get to know your ropes! Montsalvat volunteer Mike will take you through a rope making activity and demonstrate different knots and ties.

Head over to an art activity tent hosted by Montsalvat Studio Artist, Susan Reddrop, where you can be guided by glass artist Susan and participate in various workshops. There is an additional fee to enter this activity tent which can be paid at the tent on the day.

All of these activities will be running most of the day from 11.30am
