As the last flecks of magical glitter dust fall across the castle servants, they realise a transformation is taking place from within their bodies. Their hearts beat just as strongly and their souls remain the same, but arms and legs have become clock hands and wooden stands, friends have turned somewhat ceramic having formed a spout and hair has turned to feathers or candlewick!

A tale, as old as time.

Beauty and the Beast tells us the story of finding true love from within.

So together, let’s look a little deeper…

Often in every day life we can all get caught up with the way things look, but it is so important to stop and take a breath so that we may notice what may be hidden inside an exterior being presented.  In this traditional fairytale, there is far more than meets the eye and so we invite you to be our guest in the grand hall at Montsalvat Castle.

The beautiful book loving Belle finds herself being wooed by the town’s most handsome hero Gaston.  For most girls this would be a dream come true. But as we learn, looks are not everything!  Unfortunately as one story starts to unfold in this tale, a new page opens in another book.  Belle’s father finds himself lost in the forest on his way to a science fair and trespasses onto unknown royal grounds.  Suddenly trapped by a hideous Beast, he fights for his life and ends up paying with something even more.  No parent would ever want their child to sacrifice themselves, but these are the events that take place leaving Belle locked away forever with the anger challenged mad monkey like man.

Unknown to all outside the castle walls however, those who reside within have all had a change take place.  Enter the walking and talking, breathing and boasting extravagant candelabra and the very timely and precisely waddling grandfather clock.  Not to mention the flirtatious feather duster, singing wardrobe, swinging teapot and hip hopping teacup!  As Belle finds all the cutlery coming alive, our hero hears the news and forms a mob of strong warriors to come to her aid.   But before Gaston arrives, Belle finds several things within herself.

Is the beast really what he looks like he is?

Does our hero have an ulterior motive?

How is the lady who is turning into a teapot still able to pour hot drinks?

In this fun filled Disney musical, there is laughter and tears.  A love like no other, and singing and dancing that will have you clapping and tapping in your seats.  Set deep within the historical grounds of Montsalvat Castle, join us on an adventure that truly brings everything to life - just watch out that you don’t sit on ‘someone’ by mistake!
