Bev Plowman’s love of Impressionism and the French countryside led her to an artist residency at Château D’Orquevaux in 2019. It was here she was inspired by beautiful soft light, weeping trees and wildflowers growing by the lake. Paintings from the château will be a featured in this exhibition, along with a more modern take on Impressionism, experimenting with larger brush strokes.

Intuitive abstract artist Jo Carroll creates from a space of nothingness, beyond preconceived ideas and compositional plans. Carroll’s imagery is calming, atmospheric and ethereal, drawing viewers into transcendent states of being and becoming. This collection of works by Carroll invites the viewer to pause, reflect and use imagination to experience their own journey into tranquility.
