The Jester’s Workshop at Montsalvat present a special performance of the Big Funny Giant! The story starts with “Tilly”, a very very serious and sad 8-year-old orphaned girl – just a regular old hand puppet – who longs for a family or at least a life less serious and small. One night she is whisked away by a BFG clown with an unusual suitcase of goodies, who teaches her how to have fun again. The story culminates in the sharing of fun, juggling and music with all the children (more serious taller family members may join in too – if keen). The joy is spread far and wide. This spreading of fun and giggles helps Tilly feel like part of a family again and she finally joins in and laughs out loud.
This story is based on the BFG with many variations. Join us! Children of all ages are welcome!

This event will be held outdoors. Bring your own picnic rugs and low camp chairs.
In the event that wet or extreme weather is expected the event will relocated indoors.
