ARTIST STATEMENT

Araluen presents a diverse selection of artwork that reflects the breadth of artistic talent and invention of this large group of artists. Home is inspired by the part art plays in creating a sense of belonging for those who make it and those who acquire it.

In Araluen’s studios, artists have found a creative home where they work side by side to hone their own technique, be that in ceramic or two-dimensional form, and explore themes and ideas of personal interest. These expressions of individuality hopefully become cherished pieces that enrich and enliven the spaces of others who connect with it.
