The Be Wise Art Exhibition is curated by the Pat Cronin Foundation, bringing to life the themes of empowerment, optimism, and community.
Pat’s life was tragically taken away by a Coward Punch. The Foundation honours Pat’s life by helping young Australians make wise decisions so we can end this senseless social violence.
This exhibition unveils new and bespoke creative works, featuring a commissioned sculpture by the highly celebrated artist Deborah Halpern, creator of Melbourne’s most loved public sculptures such as “Angel” at Birrarung Marr and “Ophelia” at Southgate.
The works of twenty-nine talented artists are showcased. Artists were given creative freedom to interpret the theme in their unique style and chosen medium. Each has captured the essence of the Foundation’s vision – to empower positive community change and end the Coward Punch.
The Gala Evening is set to be a marvellous celebration of the artists in honour of Pat. Art lovers and Foundation supporters will come together for this worthy cause - all are welcome.
Every gala ticket and artwork purchased raises funds for the Pat Cronin Foundation to deliver education programs. Through schools and clubs, the Foundation works tirelessly to prevent social violence and promote positive behaviour among young Australians.
