Dr. Judith Buckrich, Montsalvat Red Chair, Melbourne Books and Eltham Bookshop are pleased to invite you to celebrate the launch of Judith Buckrich’s book ‘Yarra Birrarung: Artists, Writers and the River”

In celebration of the book launch, Judith will be in conversation with Harry Saddler and Scott Rawlings on topics pertaining to the Birrarung River. The panel discussion will focus on the artistic, natural history and the health of our Birrarung River.

Judith Buckrich

Judith is best known for her histories of Melbourne people, place institutions.
Her new book reflects on our deep cultural and spiritual associations with the Birrarung River and its role as a place of nurture and recreation in our city. The book is dedicated to The Yarra Riverkeepers.

Dr Harry Saddler

Harry Saddler writes about the physical, ecological and philosophical interactions in nature. His book Gently flows the Yarra is ELTHAMbookshop’s best selling book.

Dr Scott Rawlings

Scott Rawlings is the Head of Science and Research for the Office of the Commissioner for Environmental Sustainability, Victoria
