Wonderful Oblivion - Charm of Finches

SOLD OUT

"For anyone who listens to Phoebe Bridgers, Bon Iver, Billie Marten, etc., this band is well worth adding to your rotation. They have a brilliant way of capturing and depicting the ordinary in a strikingly beautiful way" — The Epigram (UK)

Join us for a special evening performance by indie folk duo Charm of Finches, presenting a recreation of their award-winning album, Wonderful Oblivion.

The sisters, Mabel and Ivy Windred-Wornes, from Melbourne, Australia, make haunted tunes about love, grief and whispering trees. Having grown up together, this sister duo has mastered the art of seamlessly pairing vocal harmonies with their many stringed instruments. Charm of Finches have enchanted many with their impressive musicianship and impeccable song writing, traversing melancholy and wonder in equal measure.

Winners of the Australian Folk Music Awards Best Folk Album (2022) and Music Victoria Best Folk Act (2021), their music has been nominated twice for the prestigious Australian Music Prize.
