Wilbur Wilde - Blowout in the Barn

Wilbur Wilde Blowout began on Valentines Day 1984 and has continued to swing since, their book for the forthcoming Montsalvat happening features compositions by the New York based Billy Harper, John Coltrane and Vocalese master Eddie Jefferson plus GST. 

Incarnations of Blowout throughout have included incredible musicians and singers, some of whom will contribute to their (41st) anniversary celebrations.  

March 30th, 2025, at ‘The Montsalvat Barn’, Wilbur has invited along his favourite Blowout members, don’t tell the others. 

Jex Saarelaht is ideally cast as pianist along with his welded on triotic comrades Ben Hanlon on bass and Niko Schauble who will Drum and Cymbalise. 

Founder Wilbur Wilde will Saxophone mostly and talk a bit but not so much as to exclude the tangentially lyrical trumpet proclamations of Eugene Clinton Ball. 

The above listed musicians have performed at Montsalvat many times during this and last century and to a man, they have undertaken to get it ‘just right’ this time.
