Our seasonal gatherings are designed to bring the community together. Bring your family and friends to soak up the beauty of Montsalvat’s stunning grounds and historic buildings. Free admission all day and donations encouraged to support the ongoing sustainability of our heritage precinct.

What to expect:

Meet our resident artists and creatives, take a peek inside their unique studios, and wander through our inspiring heritage spaces.

Learn about the history of Montsalvat, chat with our wonderful volunteers who help in the garden, galleries and welcoming visitors. Marvel at artworks on display across 3 gallery spaces by finalists of the Nillumbik Shire Council Contemporary Art prize 2025.

Discover opportunities to learn different artforms and participate in classes and workshops in ceramics, mosaics and painting!

Grab a coffee or a cool drink from The Meeting Pool café, treat yourself to a pastry or a gourmet toastie, and relax in the sunny courtyard or the lush lawns.

The Pottery Fair

The Pottery Expo at Warrandyte presents an Autumn Pottery Fair at Montsalvat.
Thirty of the Expo's ceramic artists will present their finest ceramics for sale on April 6 in The Montsalvat Orchard. Ceramics will range from functional to sculptural, offering a showcase of variety, innovation and excellence. Teachers from Clay Talk, Montsalvat's ceramic school and studio, will also exhibit their work and offer interactive clay experiences for the public.
