EXHIBITION: Silhouettes

SILHOUETTE
Definition - 'The dark shape and outline of someone or something visible in restricted light against a brighter background'.

When the sun lies low in the sky and you can't see the details in front of your eyes, mysterious shapes evolve against the light. Everyday objects change and gain new meaning as they combine with others. Backlit cups of steaming tea become objects of beauty. Perhaps you can see a silhouette of someone in a shadow on the wall? Complex forms become simplified, leaving the essential forms for us to consider.

'Silhouettes' is an exhibition by a small group of women artists based in Diamond Valley.
